Siena Las Vegas
Located in the master-planned community of Siena, the Siena Golf Club has quickly become one of the favorite spots for local golfers in the Las Vegas Valley, and the word is quickly getting out to tourists as well. Highlighted by the quarter mile Lake Siena on the 18th hole, Siena blends the natural desert terrain that makes up the western portion of the Las Vegas Valley with outstanding views of the Sheep Mountain Range.
There's no question that Las Vegas is one of the more visually stunning cities in the United States. Brightly decorated buildings stand out against a backdrop of expansive mountain ranges. Between Las Vegas and its surrounding natural borders lays suburban ghettos and high class developments. To compliment the crowded city-like appearance, the outskirts of Las Vegas are speckled with establishments like the Siena Golf Club. If you've ever been wondering where all the green has gone, it's on Siena Monte Avenue.
Siena's local allows it a backdrop of tall mountains to its lush greenery. Appearances aside, Siena is also one of Vegas' many first-rate golf clubs. A membership to Siena comes in three different varieties – a Player Card, an annual individual membership, and the Player Improvement Program. The purchase of the annual Player Card membership grants access to member rates at Siena's two California-based sister properties (Strawberry Farms and Robinson Ranch), a complimentary cart and practice balls, golf lessons and store merchandise at discounted prices, and the ability to bring an unlimited amount of guests throughout the membership term. The much higher priced Individual Membership gives access to use of the practice facility at no charge, merchandise discounts, complimentary cart and green fee, and twelve complimentary guest passes. Finally, the much cheaper Player Improvement Program, offered mostly to individuals wishing to learn and improve their game, grants unlimited access to the practice range and complimentary golf clinics, held by PGA golf professionals.
After a long day on the green, most players will need to sit down and recharge their energy. The Siena Bistro is the golf club's version of a "recharging station" and offers a full menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items. Awarded with "The Best Kept Secret Restaurant" and "Best Wedding Venue", Siena Bistro offers an intimate dining experience perfect for special occasions and a quiet get-away dinner. Seasonal buffets top off such holidays as Easter, Mother's Day, and Thanksgiving. Patio seating is available for those that wish to continue to ogle the beauty that the course offers. Equipped to serve and seat large groups, the club's bistro is the perfect spot for a secluded, private wedding in a city of crowds and few places to hide. Wedding ceremonies are overseen by Siena's able staff and can be held at the three different locations. The Fireplace Terrace, Water Front Lawn, and Siena Villas Lawn all offer a warm ambiance for your special occasion and the perfect start to a life of happiness and love. After your "I Do's", the party moves indoors to one of two rooms – the Siena Bistro or the Siena Ballroom. Your reception menu can be chosen from one of 2 plated or 2 buffet style set-ups and is catered directly from the five-star kitchen staff of the Siena Bistro.
Of the many golf courses that can be witnessed in Vegas, Siena should definitely be on your "must see" list. With a course that seems to be complimented by light of any time of day, Siena isn't just a beautiful property – it's an experience.
