The legend continues in downtown Las Vegas. Binion's 50,000-square-foot casino is where the World Series of Poker and the Hall of Fame Poker Classic were created and though the tournaments have moved to the Rio, Binion's casino is still a favorite of poker aficionados. Caribbean stud and Pai Gow poker, Mini Baccarat, roulette, craps, race and sports books and Keno also are on hand, among many other gaming diversions. The pool area is located on the 25th floor, affording a view of downtown and the Strip.

It's worth noting that one of the best inexpensive late-night steak dinners can be experienced in Binion's Coffee Shop, where it has been served for years.
