Golden Gate
The Golden Gate, located in downtown Las Vegas was established in 1906. In fact, it is considered to be Las Vegas' most historic hotel/casino and the smallest hotel on Fremont Street, with only 106 rooms. Guests can enjoy the intimate atmosphere of a historic hotel and then step outside the front doors into the grandeur and excitement of the Fremont Street Experience.
Over the years, 100 to be exact, very little has changed at the hotel. Many of the original wood fixtures remain in place and oddly enough, the shrimp cocktail (widely acknowledged as the first ever served in Las Vegas) is as popular as the day it was introduced.
