Crazy Horse Paris
Pronounced 'La Fahm,' this French topless cabaret and cultural phenomenon, has recently celebrated its five-year anniversary at the MGM Grand. The show is an exact replica of the Crazy Horse in Paris, which also celebrated an anniversary recently – 55 years – proof enough that the show has overcome the test of time.
La Femme has introduced to America some of the most modern choreography in the history of the show, music by renowned French producer Laurent Gueneau and one-of-a-kind couture costumes by accomplished fashion designer Gaspard Yurkevich. New numbers, introduced in 2004, range from solo lip-synched dance routines to group cabaret performances, where the colors and images are so engaging it's hard to determine where skin ends and color reflections begin.
All 13 dancers in La Femme are members of the original Paris dance troupe. Trained in ballet, the dancers perfectly integrate into the sensuous, provocative choreography of their performances as their bodies are bathed in richly colored and textured lighting designs.
