Founded in New York City in1963 by Budd Friedman the Improv rapidly became known as the Mecca for up-and-coming comedic talent. If you were going to make it big as a comedian your career was going to have to go through the Improv. Superstar comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Nealon, Richard Lewis and Drew Carey made their way up the comedy ladder by regularly appearing at the many locations of The Improv Comedy Club around the country.
The Improv at Harrah's, one of more than a dozen franchises of the club, opened in Las Vegas in 1995 and has been keeping audiences rolling in their seats with laughter ever since. With a weekly rotation of three new and talented comedians, the Improv, creates a show that is always unique, and of course, funny.
