An Evening at La Cage
La Cage is an energetic show featuring superstar female impersonators recreating uncanny likenesses of stars that range from Judy Garland to Britney Spears and Diana Ross to J.Lo. The show is emceed by Frank Marino; a cross-dressing dead on carbon copy of sharp-tongued Joan Rivers. He maintains the pace of the show with dazzling costumes changes between every act, which brings an international whirlwind of couture to the stage.
More than 20 years have passed since the legendary La Cage first opened at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in 1985. Skeptic casino owners first booked the show for only a three-month run but young 20-year-old, Frank Marino's unbridled determination, took the show to unforeseen heights and success. Today, Marino holds the title of Las Vegas's longest running headliner. Each segment in the show recreates key and memorable moments from television, movies and music industries. From Whitney Houston's role in 'The Bodyguard' to Michael Jackson moon-walking across the stage, each performance is so realalistic; you might think you are re-living the original occurrence.
It is said that when tourists visit Las Vegas, there are three things they come for; gambling, a trip to Hoover Dam, and a chance to see Frank Marino performing in all of his glory in the award-winning La Cage at the Riviera.
